The Weddible Dress

We are delighted to present “The Weddible Dress” to Cake International London 2016, created by Sylvia Elba, a multi-award winning cake sculptor.

Sylvia Elba – a cake sculptor of SElba Ltd, creator and owner of Fabriliquid, was asked to produce an exhibit based purely on wafer paper to showcase how versatile it can be. With this in mind Sylvia put together a group of likeminded cake artists and designers (all wafer paper enthusiasts) to create ‘The Weddible Dress’ exhibit.

This collaboration includes Yvette Marner a multi-award winning cake sculptor and founder of Fun N Funky Cakes, a company specialising in sculpted and novelty cakes; a City and Guilds trained qualified teacher; and the third member Ilinka Rnic, who has an Art, Design and Photography background. Ilinka is also multi-award winning cake designer, placing first, second and third in various cake design competitions. – via Cake International.
